Infrastructure Data Centre Project Manager
6 month contract, 500-600 per day, inside IR35, hybrid working Wokingham
Job Purpose
Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to be part of a multi-Data Centre migration of application & the installation of new infrastructure services. You will be working from beginning to end with an established Agile delivery team made up of third-party suppliers.

Job Purpose
Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to be part of a multi-Data Centre migration of application & the installation of new infrastructure services. You will be working from beginning to end with an established Agile delivery team made up of third-party suppliers.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide leadership and direction to projects utilising their project management skills, and subject matter expertise in a given business area.
- Manage any critical dependencies, risks, plans, costs and resourcing projects across interlinked projects within a multi-supplier eco-system throughout the project lifecycle.
- Make use of full methodology and techniques autonomously for self and advise others on appropriate approach.
- Create project plans to identify ownership and track completion of individual tasks, enforcing deadlines in response to client requirements and success metrics.
- Maintain and manage risk, issues, actions & dependencies log.
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Relevant industry certification (e.g. Prince 2, PMI) desirable
- Experience of delivering IT infrastructure projects for physical and virtual Data Centres.
- Experience in with both waterfall and agile methodology
- Experience building and managing a project schedule in Microsoft Project or similar project management tool utilising data-based decision making (GANTT charts, etc)
